I bought this necklace for my new niece. in 2022, I shared a trip with my mother to New Zealand, adventuring with her for a month a half before starting my semester abroad. I bought her a necklace and gave it to her upon my return. Unfortunately, she would pass from illness 2 years later. With my niece bearing her name as her middle name, I thought what better gift than a double koru to signify the connection between the old generation and the new. Very thankful for this meaningful gift.
